Indonesian Instagram Residents Are More Concerned About the Condition of Palestine Than Ukraine

Clashes between Palestinians and Israeli authorities at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque compound have attracted more attention than Russia’s siege of Ukraine’s Mariupol.

This clash between Palestinian protesters and israeli police diverted the attention of Indonesian citizens over the Russian-Ukrainian war. On Instagram, the number of views of the tragedy content at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound was watched by 5.6 million views. At the same time, Ukraine was watched by 1.9 million viewers.

Instagram users have more interaction through Instagram for Palestine as many as 960 thousand Likes than interactions for Ukraine as much as 528 thousand Likes.
